Every year since 1997, Allison Fisk Mootz and a group of Moravian classmates have been getting together for a holiday party.  This year marks the 20th year of carrying on this tradition.  To celebrate they hosted this year’s event on Campus on January 13.

Laura Centurrino married James Messier on July 26, 2014.  Laura’s brother, Kevin Centurrino ’04 was a groomsman and fellow classmate Abbe Cox Torres ’01 was a bridesmaid.  Moravian alum Krista Koe Corona ’01 and her husband attended the celebration as well.

Katherine Warren Marketto and her husband, Jon ’00 are expecting their third child in March 2015.  Katherine and Jon are the proud parents of Aidan age 6 and Gregory age 3.

Hannah Wood is a volunteer for non-profit Project Capoeira, is one of the primary organizers of Brazilian Day Philadelphia, which is part of PECO’s Multicultural Series festivals held at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia.  This year the event will be held on September 21.  Open invitation to come celebrate Brazil!

Heather Karp Goldan is currently living and working, as a photographer in Clinton, NJ.  She is a family photographer, mainly specializing in newborn photography.  Recently St. Luke’s Hospital contacted her about purchasing several of her photos for their permanent collection to be hung in their Labor & Delivery Floor.  St. Luke’s is the second hospital to display her photos.  Hunterdon Medical Center also displays Heather’s work.

Colleen Bollette is a first-grade teacher in the Lebanon Township School District in New Jersey where she serves on the New Jersey Teachers Advisory Panel with the Department of Education.   Colleen has taught Preschool through Second Grade for 12 years.  She received the 2012 New Jersey Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award and the 2013 Excellence in Education Award.

Tamra Nichols was recently promoted to client service manager at Paychex, Inc. located in North Reading, Massachusetts.  This change required her to have to relocate from Allentown, to their Boston office, located outside the city in a town called North Reading.  She is one of 4 total managers overseeing a branch that handles over 13,000 clients for their payroll and human resource needs.  She is excited for this opportunity to continue helping the branch achieve their goals and maintain their long history of success.  She continues to also teach Zumba fitness classes in her spare time, as she begins her fourth year as an instructor.

In May 2012 Elicia Stein published a fiction novel entitled The PTA Man, under her pen name Elise Stein. The book is available on Amanzon as a paperback or ebook. She has an author page on Amazon and also an author website www.elisestein.wordpress.com. Elicia has a doctorate in clinical psychology and is currently working as a clinical psychologist for the government.

Tamra Nichols and her fiancé, Robert Funk, eloped on September 15, 2010. They are still planning a wedding celebration in 2012. In addition, Tamra has become a certified Zumba instructor in June 2010 and is happily teaching four classes a week along with working her day job. She even recently held a free class at Moravian for the current Zeta Tau Alpha and Alpha Sigma Alpha girls as a sisterhood event.

Katie Marketto and her husband Jon are working as administrators at Matapeake Middle School in Grasonville, MD. They have a three-year-old son, Aidan, and are expecting their second child in seven weeks.

          Jan Golden has completed a three-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa. Dr. Golden graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2007, where she received a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
    She served as chief resident of the podiatry program this past year.      Dr. Golden also completed a three-month rotation at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, caring for pediatric and adult patient.    Dr. Golden is affiliated with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, Pennsylvania Foot & Ankle Society and the American Professional Wound Care Association.  She completed the AO North America basic and advanced podiatry courses and is certified in hyperbaric medicine.
     Dr. Golden plans to start her own practice in partnership with Justine Metcho, D.P.M., who has an established podiatric medical and surgical practice in Old Forge, Pa.

Heather Strizalkowski married Eric Stegmaier on August 22, 2009.  In attendance were Emily Rizzo ’01, Kristen Holcomb Paigo ’01, and Nicole Stevenson Simmons ’00.  Heather and Eric continue to live in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Othaniel Lunan, Sr. earned a masters degree in social work (MSW), and a masters degree in public administration (MPA), from Marywood University, Scranton, in May of 2009.

The Rev. Matthew R. Seeds has been installed as pastor of Zion United Church of Christ, York. He received his master of divinity degree from Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, Calif. He was ordained last fall in his home church, Dubbs United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Emily Rideout is in the final part of the DMA program in viola at Boston University. She has enjoyed teaching and freelancing in the Boston area. She has also had the opportunity to perform on tours in Washington State and Japan. She invites any classmates in the Boston area to contact her.

Jennings completed her certificate of advanced graduate study in professional counseling at The University of Scranton in May 2009.  She also was recently nominated by her peers to run for secretary of the National Career Development Association.  In June, Erin co-chaired the 2009 Annual  SUNY Career Development Organization Conference in Watkins Glen, N.Y.

Heather Strizalkowski has completed a three year teaching certification course in the Alexander Technique.  She is currently teaching flute and Alexander Technique in a private practice throughout the greater Hartford region.

Torine Pasek earned her master’s in history from Loyola University in Chicago. She works as the corporate researcher for Northwestern University’s Office of Alumni Relations and Development. She continues to live in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago.

Jessica Kistler has recently changed jobs to become the activities director for a retirement community. She uses her music degree to provide therapy and concerts, and calls upon her artistic talents to lead craft projects and to plan parties.
